HomeTerms

What we promise, and what we won’t.

Praised is a measurement service, and these are the terms for using it: what you own, what a plan buys, and what nobody in this category — us included — can honestly promise you.

These terms are the agreement between you (or the organisation you sign up for) and Praised Oy (Business ID 3454899-8, Kivenhakkaajankuja 3 B, 02650 Espoo, Finland), the company that operates Praised. By creating an account or using the free tools you accept them.

What the service does

Praised is an AI-visibility measurement service. It asks AI tools like ChatGPT questions about your category, records how they answer, and reports what it measured — with sample sizes and confidence intervals. It also audits pages, keeps a queue of fixes, and helps you produce and publish content. Free tools are available without an account.

What we do not promise

This is the clause we would most like you to read.

  • We cannot and do not guarantee that any AI tool will mention you, recommend you, cite you, or reach any particular rate or position. We do not control the engines. We measure, we prescribe, and we help you improve — the outcome is not ours to sell.
  • Model behaviour changes without notice, and a change you publish can take weeks to show up in what an AI tool says, if it ever does.
  • Measurements are samples of a probabilistic system. We report intervals precisely so you can tell movement from noise. A number without its interval is being read wrong.
  • Anyone in this category who promises you a guaranteed ranking is selling something they cannot deliver.

Your account

Keep your credentials secret, and tell us promptly if you think they have been exposed. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to your workspace. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Plans, questions and payment

  • A plan is a number of tracked questions. Each approved question is asked on every engine your plan includes, on the schedule the plan states, until you retire it — and retiring it frees its place. A question costs the same whatever engine answers it.
  • When every place is used, the service refuses a new question rather than charging for it. Extra and premium engines are fixed monthly add-ons, priced before you add one.
  • Credits are what the Agent is metered in, and nothing else. Each plan includes a monthly allowance; on plans with rollover up to one month's unused allowance carries forward, and credits bought as a top-up pack never expire. Running out of credits stops the Agent, not your measurement.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Business prices are shown exclusive of tax, and tax is calculated at checkout. Where you are buying as a consumer in the EU or the UK, the price shown to you includes VAT at your rate and the checkout states the tax amount separately before you pay. Prices are shown in euros in Europe and in dollars elsewhere; you can switch, and the numerals are the same either way.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
  • Reading data you already have costs nothing, through the console, the API or an integration. Nothing you do starts a measurement: approved questions are asked on the plan's schedule.

Acceptable use

Do not use Praised to break the law, to infringe someone's rights, to attack or overload our systems or anyone else's, to resell access without a written agreement with us, or to scrape sites you have no right to fetch. The free tools are rate-limited; do not attempt to work around the limits. We may suspend an account that is doing damage, and we will tell you why.

Who owns what

  • You own your content and your data — the brands and questions you configure, the pages you write, and the readings produced for your workspace. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you.
  • An answer is not workspace data. An AI tool's answer to a public question is stored once, keyed by the request that produced it, and served to any workspace tracking that question. It carries no workspace, no brand and no record of who asked. Our privacy policy sets out what this does and does not mean, including what a deletion removes and how to mark a question private.
  • We own the software, the methodology, and any aggregate or anonymised statistics that cannot identify you or your workspace.
  • Content generated for you is yours to publish. You are responsible for checking it before you do — it is a draft written from facts you supplied, not a warranty about your business.

Third parties

The service depends on AI providers, payment and email infrastructure, and the public web. When one of them changes or fails, parts of the service may be delayed or unavailable. We report gaps as gaps rather than filling them in with estimates.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running and to give notice of planned maintenance, but the service is provided "as is" without a formal uptime commitment unless we have signed one with you separately.

Liability

To the extent the law allows: neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits or revenue; and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time. We can end this agreement if you materially break these terms and do not fix it within 30 days of us telling you, or immediately for unlawful use. On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and the District Court of Helsinki has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except where mandatory law says otherwise. Praised is sold to businesses; if you are using it as a consumer, the protections of your own country's law apply to you regardless of this clause.
