Delete a product or your account

Removing a product frees its plan slot at once and keeps the product’s data for 30 days, during which Restore brings the product back. After 30 days, the product and everything measured about the product are deleted for good.

Who can delete#

Only a workspace Owner can remove, restore or delete a product, and only an Owner can export or delete a workspace.

Remove a product#

Open Brand profile, open the Actions menu and choose Remove product. The plan slot frees as soon as you confirm.

Scheduled tracking of the product stops. The product id stays taken while the product can be restored.

Restore a product#

A removed product shows as removed, with the date of removal. Select Restore, paused on the removed product within the 30 days to bring the product back with its stored readings.

A restored product comes back with tracking off and takes a plan slot again. With no free slot, the restore is refused.

Delete a product now#

Delete permanently, in the Actions menu or on a removed product, erases the product and every stored reading at once. Type the product id to confirm. There is no undo, and the id is free to reuse afterwards.

Delete the workspace#

Open Settings, then Export and deletion. Select Export everything first to download the workspace’s data as JSON.

Select Delete workspace and type the workspace name to confirm. Every product, question, reading, brief, setting and member goes, and there is no undo.

Deleting the workspace cancels its subscription at once and signs everyone out of the workspace.

An agency workspace cannot be deleted while it still has client workspaces. Delete each client workspace first.

What is kept, and for how long#

A few records outlive a deleted workspace: the billing record of what was charged and used, the record that the account has had its Free 7 days, Praised’s own staff action log, and the workspace address, which is never issued again.

An answer to a public question that another workspace is also served stays, with nothing of yours attached. An answer no other workspace is served is deleted with the rest.

Deleting a workspace leaves your sign-in, and any other workspace you belong to, as they are.

Delete your personal account#

To have your sign-in and personal data deleted, email hello@praised.co. The deletion includes the backups on their next rotation.
